Terms of sale and use

The plain terms for buying and using Deskiee. By buying or using the app you agree to them.

Who you buy from

To confirm: draft awaiting review before launch. Effective date to be set.

Who you buy from

Deskiee is made by WorQFlow Inc., a Minnesota corporation in the United States. You can reach us at support@deskiee.com.

When you buy Deskiee on this website, the seller is Polar, our merchant of record. Polar takes your payment, sends your receipt, and handles sales tax and VAT, under its own terms. For a refund, see refunds. Help with the app itself comes from us at support@deskiee.com.

Your licence

What you get

One payment of $4.99 gets you a licence to use Deskiee. There is no subscription and no account. After you pay, you receive a licence key that unlocks the app. The key does not expire.

Your key has your name on it, and you may not share it, sell it or post it publicly. We may switch off a key that has been refunded, charged back or shared publicly.

To confirm: does one purchase cover one computer, or every computer one person uses? A key records a number of computers (1 for a normal purchase), and Settings shows that number when it is more than one; the app does not count or check your devices.

The app and its artwork remain ours. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the app, or take it apart to make your own version of it.

No warranty

As it is

Deskiee is a small desktop companion. We make it with care and will help if something goes wrong, but we provide it as it is, without any promise that it will be free of bugs, work on every computer, or suit any particular purpose.

As far as the law allows, WorQFlow Inc. is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss from using the app, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you, and nothing here takes away rights you have by law.

The fine print

Changes and law

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you buy is the one that applies to your purchase.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA. To confirm with a lawyer: Minnesota as governing law, where disputes are heard, and wording for buyers outside the US.
